Did your asparagus beetles go away?

I pick my asparagus so it is tender on the end. No sorting, very
non-uniform in both length and diameter. Put it in long skinny plastic
bags, maybe 4"x20". 1/2 lb per bag. Retail $4, wholesale $2.50. Per
bag. Last year, Fall crop was $5 retail.
