Kathleen,

I get 20 cents apiece or $20.00 for a case of 100 wholesale.  I sell them out of the greenhouse all winter, grow like crazy and don’t need to be heated.  I call them garlic scallions.

Subject: [Market-farming] green garlic

Apparently I didn't get all of my garlic dug last summer, and now I have 8 " clumps of green garlic.  I need to plant that area, but before I do, I want to sell some of the green garlic and transplant some.  What price should I ask for the green garlic, and does a transplanted garlic plant grow and develop normally, or does the root disturbance cause problems?
