Well, count me in – 30 years and counting.  I started as a applications programmer and for the last 15 years have been working in the school system as a tech.  Right now I’m Network Admin for Hart County Schools in SC Kentucky and it’s a great job.  It’s especially great for Market Farming ‘cause I have a 200 day contract, flexible days (great for getting large plantings done) and take most of June and July off.  And, I think, my computer savvy helps with our marketing efforts.

How many computer people are on this list??  Meaning that's your other job??  After dealing with the AOL stuff this weekend, I'm pleasantly surprised how many there are on this list who also work somehow/someway connected with computers (you emailed me off list afraid of getting unsubscribed!).  Makes me wonder, why are computer people drawn to market farming or is it the other way around, why are market farmers drawn to computers?

just a curiosity on this day after market for many of you!

Liz
