Hello growers,
I am looking for some guidance as to whether planting hot peppers and sweet peppers close together with potential for cross pollination can affect the flavor of the peppers grown. In other words, will I get hot sweets and sweet hots? I understand that peppers usually self pollinate, but can be crossed by insects.
I am not yet growing for market, but refining my growing techniques and trying to learn. I am thinking about marketing a hot sauce - seems like a good value added product.
Thanks in advance
Nancy in Corvallis Oregon
