Is it safe to say the guide wheel system would replace or serve the function of the gauge wheels also?

Hopefully I get it right with this purchase.  I have made too many purchases that I outgrew already. ;)

Thanks,

Frank Ventura

Yes they act as gauge wheels but not very adjustable ones. I set the height of the frame for the rake and that’s where it stays. They are too heavy to move much and have to be set right [each pair must be at the same depth] to work right. If I wanted to make them adjustable I would modify them so they worked like the depth wheels of a Yeomans Keyline Plow. Allan Yeomans  design deservedly won an award. It’s item #14 on this page, though you can’t see clearly how it works from this.

I should mention that my frame only “rakes” the top of the bed. If I remember I even took off a couple of the outside weeding wires.

Contact me off list if you want the exact measurements to be able to successfully mount the Bezz guidance system on the Williams frame. This may dictate which model you should get.
