Does it seem to work?

Does it bother cats or dogs, do you know? (If I didn't have the cats and dog, I'd have even more mice: at one point, when I briefly had only old retired cats and a puppy too young to hunt, the mice were literally dancing on the tables, and a woodchuck was living in the packing shed. It's a lot better than that now. But the smarter mice hide out in the walls where the cats have trouble getting at them.)
