- Subject: [Market-farming] Guinea fowl in the Garden?
- Date: Wed, 13 Jan 2010 09:53:51 -0500
Does anyone have experience with guinea fowl as consumers of various pests in the garden? Cucumber, squash and asparagus beetles have been a significant problem in our gardens this past season. Do guinea fowl significantly reduce the pest populations? Do guineas have their own problems -- such as damaging some or all crops, etc? Many thanks for any advise that may be offered. Tom (central NC, zone 7)
