Greetings,
I have heard that she is good on hot peppers, but the sweet pepper seed I bought one year was useless. Less than 20% germination, no satisfaction from her either. My seed from Seeds of Change that year all germinated, so I know it wasn't me, as I grew all of them at the same time. I won't use her again either, and yes, I too got treated seed, not marked as such. This was 3 or 4 years ago.
Bright Blessings,
Kim

Pepper Gal sent me treated seed not labeled as such in 1999 -- I only found out it was treated when I opened the package and saw the dye on the seeds. (Even if you don't care whether the seed is treated, that's a significant labeling problem as the info was, I believe, legally required to be on the packets).
Admittedly this was ten years ago and they may be behaving better now. I don't think I've ordered from them since, so it may have been an isolated problem rather than a common practice. They did have a lot of varieties hard to find elsewhere, but they're in Florida and I had trouble telling what might do well up north as their catalogue descriptions didn't generally include such info. Again, that may have changed, I haven't had a catalogue from them in some years.
