They're hot here too. Mostly because so few grow them anymore.
Probably for some of the same reasons as for us - there are more dollars
per hour of labor in other crops! We're contemplating making one last
seeding this week. October beans are always so beautiful because insect
pressure is almost nil. And, picking is much more pleasant than in the
heat of summer!
