Broccoli leaves are delicious, steamed or added to rice for last 10 minutes or so, or probably most anyway you'd cook greens... if you can get folks to try them. We sell them in 12 oz bags for $2-$2.50 (that's EC, not U.S, but roughly comparable for purchase power for local goods), people trying them on our personal recommendation, then coming back again for more. I think new sales would benefit though from a catchy name and recipe handout.

Best wishes,

I didnt' check on my several thousand plants for a couple of days and

moderate sized tight heads.

It's early in the season and, assuming it is too late and too hot to
hope for cut-and-come-again side shoots, I hate to just pull the
whole planting and pitch it.

I remember that many people like the whole brocolli plant to slice
and stir fry. I'm also wondering about blender brocolli soups

Any ideas?
