we're running out of time
to get enough permanent beds ready for this year's growing. I'm thinking
of taking a section that's particularly fertile and loose already, and
using the whole section as a giant pea patch--harvest on stools or
whatever. anyone ever done this and what are the drawbacks besides aching
backs? I'm told the peas will be finished by late
June so can I follow up the patch with a late planting of
corn/popcorn?
