I'm new to these beans this year. How do you know when they are ready to pick?I just go by their appearance in that they begin to change from the bright green color they were while growing and start to lighten. If you let them dry on the plants they'll eventually turn yellow and then brown.
We have been trying a few pods every few days. Is there a visual clue that is
dependable?
I also look to make sure the pods are *well* filled out and you can feel the big beans inside.
