Perhaps Pat will respond too, but if it excludes insect pests, it will exclude pollinators too. So it would need to be removed before flowering of squash, cukes, melons, etc. I would put it on right after transplanting. Nothing worse than trapping pests inside the cover with your crops.

Do you leave the netting on until harvest or can you remove it earlier? Do you need to get it on right at transplanting?
