some food u pick early any way u going to tell me
people are getting tree ripe food. ha ha . it would be soft in one
day u telling me u eat all your apples in 1 day hehe what are u nuts
. if it is really tree ripe it depends on the fruit. Imp sure people
picking apples peaches etc send it fresh. I know I just pick and ship
. when I sold at the farmers market I agree it can be more tree ripe but
they don't like to eat it all in one day either. hehe some thing u
don't want tree ripe but i agree tree ripe is nice think that's the
farmers reward. tree ripe to ripe to send off. not bad .
it depends on the fruit. when you pick say avocado u pick it
hard before it molds on the inside before seed in the cherimoya seeds
sprout. it depends on the fruit. you keep it cool that's for
sure. you slow it down. that right u slow down the ripeness with
cool I do that at home you can't eat all that food ever hear of a ice box are u
nuts hehe nothing wrong with cooling some for later. heck we
use to can food in Iowa and eat all winter . there is lots of goodness
left in the food are u nuts. I got organic kona coffee roosted over a
month ago. its great i feel lucky to know a organic coffee
grower I trust. u pick fruit to green there is no sugar in it . you have to know when to pick.
you have to pick it just right and cool it till it gets to your customers and I
have been told it is still some of the sweetest . u ever hear of a
root caller. hehe . healthier because it was grown up the
street among all the Illinois GMO corn pollen is better than grown organic
from a tree that been organic for 20 years. hehe I don't think so
. but I understand what's going on here every dog has to protect his
bone so I understand ok well to each his own. if you
only want to eat local I think your missing a lot of good healthy
food. ----- Original Message -----
