I live near Lynn (about 3 miles). I don't think she could
sell the eggs if she charged that.

This is a fairly poor area and people aren't used to paying
really high prices for food. They especially aren't used to
it because there are so *very few* opportunities to buy any
local and/or organic food here.

If all you've ever eaten is a supermarket egg, you don't
appreciate the difference. You may not even prefer the
local egg.

Hopefully, the new farmers' market will start to make a
difference.
