Dogs? Our Golden retriever found out he was a "varmint dog" last week
when he killed a female living under our barn, and the young ones as
they appeared over the next 2-3 days.

We'd like to have an update on the Phan-Tom as well.

my far field is having a major groundhog attack. Last night
he/she/it wiped out over a hundred squash plants (apparently squash
tastes better, to a groundhog, than the pac choi that was growing
right next to it).

What successes have you had in keeping groundhogs out of your fields

any variations on the possibilities that I can think of:

shooting (groundhogs are pretty wily critters)
trapping (same as above)
poisoning (I really hate to use poisons, but what works?)
fencing out (what sort of fence works?)
other deterrence ??

That sound generator that was discussed earlier. Are people still
haven't success with it?
