Joan -- Yes, 24D can be a problem. Several years ago, our entire crop was
lost. A farmer applied it on a 14 acre bean field that is 100 yards from
our grapes. It volatized and moved into the grapes and pear trees. I even
noticed damage to our tomatoes that were about 1400 feet away. The grapes
and pears have come back, the farmer has not.
