Hi
Had an interesting experience at market yesterday I thought I would
share.
I grow and sell black raspberries. Only one in my area that I know of.
Last year I tried to get $6 a quart or $4 a pint and no one bought
without complaining. Knowing how much work it is to pick them I eat them
rather than lower the price.
Anyway this time I packaged them in reused 1/2 Pint containers from
berries I bought over the year and priced them at $2.50. NO one said a
word and gladly paid. That is $10 a quart and I didn't even feel guilty
. Must be a psychological thing.
I figure if they pay $2.99 all year long for red ones from Chile or
wherever,my organically grown are worth as much.
Have a great day, I am going to.
