and for culinary purposes(sold as gobo in Oriental markets)
Barb - "Gobo" is burdock, not comfrey. Also, not that it really matters, but with recommendations like yours, it should be noted that the USDA has issued health warnings related to the ingestion of Comfrey.
I grow large beds of comfrey for the wonderful liquid manure we make from it.
