Allan,
We have had a McCullough 120 volt unit here at Windwalker Farm for 16 years.
It is a 8 H.P. Unit. It runs about anything I need and has run the furnace
and refrigerators during ice storms when we have lost coop power. I set up
a power conversion switch on my furnace so it is an easy change over. It
is manual start and has done yeoman duty. My son-in-law built a straw bale
house here at the farm with it. It currently resides under an old
wheelbarrow in my boat yard where it starts on the first pull when needed to
power bilge pumps. I would not be with out it.
