Another thing you can do before seeding peppers is to soak the seed for
one minute in a solution of 1 part clorox and three parts water. Do not
exceed one minute or you can harm the seed, then rinse the seed under
flowing water for 5 minutes, this will kill any bacterial diseases on
the seed. This is especially important if you save seed. Commercially
bought seed also needs to be soaked. After rinsing let seed dry on a
clean towel and you are ready to plant...Bob.
