Allan, here is where we got the barn: http://www.intellex.com/~robbilt/
Actually, it was about $9100. I included the shed in the square
footage. We went to this place because our neighbor's daughter had them
build a garage and they used them because their neighbors were pleased
with what they built for them. Ours is red metal. We plan to put
gravel in it for now - then concrete part of the floor in the future.
We had a couple of estimates from local carpenters and they were all
over $20,000. for the same sized building. We checked with some other
pole barn advertisers and they were all 'way higher than Rob Bilt.
I don't know where all they go to build.

Marie - How did you go about this? Did you go to one of the pole barn
specialists I see advertising in the horse country classifieds, or
did you find plans and hire carpenters? $6000 (did I figure right?)
for what you are describing doesn't sound bad at all! (I'm looking
for something like 18x20) -Allan
