Here are some sources given at the Great Plains vegetable Growers conference
last week:
www.scottfarms.com
www.enzorfarms.com
www.bbproduce.com
www.jonesfarmsnc.com
www.sweettater.com

We were also told:

About $45.00 per 1000 for slips
You can make your own slips from your harvest for 2-3 years, then should buy
new stock to avoid viruses that cause yields to fall
Beauregard is the best yielding in the Midwest
Hernandez tastes better but yields are smaller
there is a Japanese one with purple skin if you have an Asian market
Planting them in beds 5 feet apart with double rows in the bed really
increases yields/acre
Good N scavenger crop

Aren't conferences great?!
