Good luck with it! Last year, my early spring lettuce
survived temperatures of 16 F and a foot of snow! So your
lettuce will probably do fine.

I started my fall garden very late (for here in northern
Pennsylvania) also. But I finally got lettuce, kale, and
Chinese cabbage planted out.
