I know of at least one farmers market that will not allow you to sell
unless you have a one million dollar liability policy. I spent six months
working to get a policy so that I could sell at this market, however after
receiving quotes from 1045-2350 per year I decided that I really didn't need to
sell at this market after all. Not the market's fault, I just couldn't
justify working all summer for the insurance company.
