Hello everybody,
I found this listserv from the market-farming link on a "Johnny's
Selected
Seeds" email. I have gardened off and on with mixed results. I am finally
settling down though and recently bought a 20 acre piece of land. We will
eventually build our home there, but right now I am developing it a little
bit at a time as cash flow permits. I can't wait to get a well in. We
already started with some agroforestry plants in the sugar maple dominant
gully that runs along one border. Are there many people out there involved
with agroforestry? Maybe some nut growers? Woodland mushroom growers? How
about anybody that uses oxen for farm power? Anybody know where I might
find a small PTO driven combine/harvester for small grains and clover? Just
curious.
