Hi jama...I don't know how to tell the difference between male and female. I
bought two from a nursery...they said the plants are male and female. They
are planted on a hvy arbor...one on each side. They are covered with bloom
right now...and growing like crazy. They are five years old this year. Last
year both bloomed but a late season hvy frost wiped the leaves and blooms
off...they leafed back out later in the year. Franklin
