If a
grower put a lot into the product and believes it's superior, they'll charge
for it. And if the consumer agrees, they'll pay for it. It seems like the
growers who charge the most seem to have the most consistant, long-term
success too.

I remember back in college all of the business majors had a class where they created a computer model business, sold a 'product' and developed their company. Semester after semester the student (which might have been a bias of the computer model they played with) who developed a higher quality product and sold it at a higher profit did the best of all students.

As I remember all of the marketing students came away from the class with the lesson -
higher quality, higher price, more profit, more success.
