Title: Re: [Market-farming] Profit per acre
It's difficult to generate the information because of the very diversity in vegetable operations previously mentioned. Greenhouses have more controlled operating systems and environments that allow a little more uniformity across environments. Still, because both have many different choices fornumbers of crops, types of growing systems and market opportunities, it's really difficult in either case to develop generic spreadsheets that are relevant to many.

Let us assume a one horse operation with mechanized tilling, composting, planting, harvesting, etc.  It is funny you can find this information easily on greenhouses (probably because someone wants to sell greenhouses), but not so easily on open air.
