We planted broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower along with sugar snaps, kale, and lettuces.
I would plant everything (from seed) in mid to late July through the beginning of August except the lettuces here in Southeastern PA, USDA Zone 6. You could pretty much do leaf crops through the beginning to October. I've done peas in late July and had peas by mid-September.
Of course, I didn't do any of that this year because I thought the drought was going to continue. :-(
