Thanks Alison, great info. We will try some next summer. Curious as to how you handle your summer mesclun. Do you grow it under shade in a screened hoophouse. This past summer we had terrible flea beatle damage on our summer greens, even under the row covers. The beatles, I hear, are at their height of the life cycle in the hot and dry weather of mid-summer. Did you use any special protections? Thanks,
John
