Willie,
The key to the problem is dry water. Keep in mind that the soil system is
like a continual chemical reaction going on. There could be plenty of
Calcium in the soil, but, if the Calcium is in a liquid "solution" to be
uptaked by the plant, it will begin showing BER. With the bone meal you are
adding you are applying both a Phosphorus and a Calcium source.
