Will Brinton PhD two weeks ago in Traverse City said that with the Picloran
group of chemicals [Dow Tordon] the heat did not make a critical
difference; it took t i m e with or without heat. See his web site
under Woods End Research Laboratory in Maine. Under "News" there is
material on the Washington State experience where the parts per million [or
was it billion?]were below the usual test detection level but by special
testing picloran in the compost was shown to be the problem. Anybody can
walk in the store and buy Tordon RTU.
