Hi  I have used Moo Mix up until this year as a germination for seeds.  Last year, I am not sure what the deal was but several people in our community with market gardens who used moo mix had very spotty germination.  Then I was reading this year somewhere where compost mixes can really very in nutrients if they are not tested properly.

I have never had a problem with moo mix.  All of my things germinated just fine.  I stopped using it, because it is not cost effective compared with pro-mix.  I am not certified organic, so I can use promix.  Also, by the way Promix does have a wetting agent in it.

Has anyone tried Moo mix for germinating seeds?
