I have to agree that I don't see pelleted seed as the first choice. But
if it's not old seed and the clay is given a reasonable environment to
absorb moisture it should work...in theory. My experience has been a bit
spotty myself, though I've had some success with them. But I don't use them
routinely. I guess I was trying to provide help to someone who was trying to
use them, not advise using them as a first choice.

You need to stop in on a sunny day and cook in the greenhouse with me
Jeff. It's sure been a relief from those biting Lake Michigan winds we've
been having lately.
