Robert, I'd love to get a copy of your Word doc about deer control.
Thanks a bunch! Kathy Harris

As an organic grower - oops! can I still say that w/ the new govt.
regs??? - I believe a good rifle to be effective deer control. I also
let the local rednecks come and bang away.
Dogs are also great deer control - I have a part Australian Shepherd who
herds the deer off the property. Deer do less damage with the dogs
here, that's for sure.
I have a short Word doc. about deer control that I compiled from advice
from the several listservs I subscribe to. If anyone is interested,
please contact me off-list and I'll forward it.
BioDynamic practitioners swear by peppering - the burning of an animal
skin (or an insect) when the moon passes through certain
constellations. If you'd like to know about this control, I'll dig
through my notes. It is reported to be *very* effective; you just have
to suspend your disbelief.
For Johnson Grass - a noxious weed where I am (Loudoun County, Va.) - we
have to dig it out, then mulch. But this *is* an effective control.
Good luck with your exams!
