The G was a fine little tractor in its day, but being under powered, no
pto, and highly collectable, there are better options. The farmall super A
or the 140 makes a real nice vegetable tractor, there are a lot of
attachments for them, planters, cultivators, side dressers, ect.

I use a farmall super C that has been in our family for over 30 years, but
a C might be a bigger tractor then you would need, one advantage of the C
is that the wheel stance can be widened quite a lot which makes it stable
on side hills.
