In a perfect world, maybe. It can be done--I have 2 farming friends
who gradually reduced their acreage as they increased the high value
crops and methods--one uses greenhouses, and the other permanent beds.
Elliot Coleman uses the formula of 2.5 acres per person--this is how
much can be tended without power equipment.
