I used to use them all the time for starting tomatoes, peppers. and
other large tender veggies. Then I got into soil blocks and APS
systems.
I would use them again if I were selling tomato/pepper/etc. plants at
farmer's market. I don't like the plastic thingies, would much rather
sell the customer something that isn't going to end up in a landfill
somewhere.
