I have it Mike.  It's a good book.  Has everything from how to lay out the "homestead" to what you can grow . . . including squab.  Call me squeamish, but I think I'd have to be pretty hungry to eat pigeon.

Hi - way back in the middle of the past century there was a book in U$A titled Five Acres and Independence which might have been inspired in part by the depression.

Anybody else heard of it?
