First: Is this the "no-till" list?  I'm afraid I have lost track of
which of the lists I joined that it was.  If it isn't, someone tell me
it's the wrong list and everyone else hit delete.

I thought I'd just read a lot and then do some trial and error and then
ask more questions, but I have done several searches on my library's
books and can't find a thing, even though they have Ruth Stout's books.
There's nothing to give me a search string that pops up anything at all,
useful or un. :(  Does anyone have some books they would recommend or a
"how to" website that is particularly useful?

I did some google searches, not exhaustively or anything, but almost
everything seems to pop up lasagna gardening or double digging. Are
either of those really required?

How do you recommend getting started?
