It's not bad, mind you, especially if you like the sun. For gardening or
farming the lack of rain can be a real challenge though, at least here
in the South. In the North of the country there is a region, the Minho,
that gets so much rain that it looks more like the green green hills of
Ireland.

the difficulties are even worse, because when we get two or three days of
rain after 3 or 6 months of drought, I have got to get the seeds into the field
no matter what the moon phases or the constellations are like.
