Couple's Farm Falls Victim To Herbicide-Tainted Mulch

--This story reminded me of a couple who have a
compost-making operation here in Central Wisc. i
bought some compost from the guy once, and he
explained how they use chopped alfalfa, not manure, as
their nitrogen source.

makes you wonder, tho. i guess you need to know the
grower of your compost (if you're not making your own,
as true of many urban gardeners)

cute name for an herbicide, eh: "graze-on"... sheesh.
