Does anyone here have experience in using biennial sweet clover as a soil builder in heavy clay soilfor pasture improvement? I am concidering using it and have only come across tilling it in at the end of the second year. I was thinking it would be better to mow it and then drill pasture seed in the fall under the mowed clover.
Any ideas? How about buckwheat to cut and leave on the soil surface and drill the seed under the cut forage.
