Hi Bert

Thank you for the offer. I am making a Toronto run at the end of the week for
a few things - and will be bringing son and girlfriend back with me. How big
/ tall are the quince? I may even try and do a separate run earlier in the
week since the car may be too full with people, stuff and a dog.

On a different note, my husband is thrilled that his grapes are doing better.
( You know him as Alan Hibben - different last name. ) I think the rows of
fledgling vines may actually remain.

Thanks again for the quince. We will soon have a little quince garden
together with the garlic. Should keep the birds happy and maybe away from the
currants!

Cheers. Bizmark.

Hello Biz and Joe
Have 3. After too many years of neglect, weeds, drought, underpotted, no
fertilizer, being trod on I still have 3 or 4 of the ones that Tom germinated
Biz you can have 2 if I have not scared you off and Joe, give me your
daughter's house # again and I'll drop one there (I know her street, not sure
if I'll remember the house).

Dug a sucker out of daughter # 3's garden, I planted it in a box garden
alongside of stairs. After 4-5 years I had to tear them out as we navigating
the stairs past the prickly mess grew more of a pain (when you got stabbed).
Actually I dig them out, potted them in bushel size containers- to give to a
lady in the Hockley Valley. They were Chomanelas (sp?) and had produced only
a few fruit.
Tom I still have several potted quince, seed of which came from Lon
Rombough. Anyone want one ot two?         Cheers.
