OK - I admit to sleeping a lot during Civics 101. If the Dems have 49 seats and the Reps have 49 seats and the Ind have 2 seats, how come the Dems get control? I've seen little tag sentences that say the Ind. vote with the Dems, but if so, they don't sound so independant. What if the Inds said they were voting with the Reps? Sounds like the Inds could get some concessions and or name a price to join a voting block
