if anyone knows of a tracking poll that records Bush support broken down
by party please let me know.

Joke all you want:

"One of the more amazing results, though much in line with other
surveys, is that almost one in three still say that Saddam Hussein
'was personally involved' in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the U.S.
Two other national polls in recent weeks found much the same, or even
a higher number, with upwards of two in three ***Republicans***
holding this view [my emphasis]."

Seriously though, I can understand why some Republicans would refuse
to face the facts. I'm talking here about the Republicans who /don't/
support Bush refusing to face the fact that most do. It's obviously
because they don't want to be associated with stupid people, and how
stupid do you have to be to /STILL/ think that Saddam had anything to
do with September 11th? Now, I realize that there are a fair number of
Bush supporters who don't think that Saddam was involved, but what fun
is that? I'd rather talk about the stupid ones, or maybe the nervously
self-defensive thread-hijacking ones. :)

P.S.

69% approve of the war in his own party? That joke writes itself.
