Scott - aren't you sharing RAM between OS X and XP with Parallels? I agree that rebooting is not a good option if you need to switch back and forth often, but if not, it seems better to have full use of the machine for the OS you are using. Any idea how performance is affected for both OS's? I will be running some intensive apps on OS X doing video compression and I'll want all the horsepower the machine can offer.

I have a MacBook Pro, but why would you even deal with Boot Camp when you can juts run Windows or your fav distro of *nix in virtualization.

I'm using http://www.parallels.com/ to run XP on mine. If I have to reboot it's not worth it...
