I agree entirely, except I'm not split on being a fan.

True. I think you have to look at the education system, economic
opportunity, social safety nets, law enforcement, etc. to understand why we
have more gun crime. I don't believe that we are more violent or
pre-disposed to gun crime than any other country or people.
