the simple fact that he knows someone who supposedly went on McD's only and lost 30 pounds and can run father completely invalidated the movie, durrr

nevermind that this was well documented with medical records, doctors, etc.

furthermore, nowhere in the talk about Supersize Me (I havent seen it...yet) have I seen that it points fingers at anyone but the public and McDonalds. And nothing about "Nanny State" needing to fix anything. More like the corporation is in it solely for the money, regardless of the consequences on their customers and the people need to realize how terrible the food is for them and stop eating so much shit.

I'm not sure if this article had been posted, but I'm so amazed at clownish characters like Moore, Carville, Franken, et al getting rich off of the left I couldn't help myself. Meanwhile, Clinton is turning his dishonesty and infidelity into millions with his tell-all book, and SuperSizeMe is winning awards for being a scam, only because their victim is a big corporation.

"To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of “dissenting” bravery."

PS- On the SuperSize con: There is a long time RTP employee who I know went on a McDonald's only diet last fall. He lost 30+ pounds and increased his running distance. I watched him do it personally over a period of a few months, but that story would never win the Sundance festival or set records in Australia, I betcha. So, the question is, are people lining up to drop five bucks to hear truth, or are they salivating for evidence that Big Corp is responsible for their problems, and Nanny State needs to fix all.
